Chick-fil-A

So who digs this fast food chain?

(People lined up in Hollywood, waiting for some free Chick-fil-A once they open their doors for the first time.)

A Chick-fil-A just opened up yesterday in Hollywood and is already sparking a protest and it has nothing to do with PETA. Here's a little backstory.

This restaurant is known to have strong Christian values. They're closed on Sundays and have even been nicknamed, Jesus Chicken. Chick-fil-A has also been known to allegedly base their hiring standards on someone's church affiliation and marital status, according to Time.

Now back to the protest. Chick-fil-A is known to donate campaign contributions to anti-gay politcians. Although the restaurant has denied they are anti-gay and in fact say they value all people, this isn't stopping pro-equality peeps from staging a protest tomorrow (Saturday), according to TMZ.

Be there or be chicken... get it? Yeah, we suck.

Bristol Palin's Ridin The Bull... But Mom Gets Called A Whore

A 47 year old man called Britol's mom, Sarah, a whore and Bristol... a bitch!

We have to give Bristol props, although with cameras in tow for her reality show, for walking up to dude and getting in his face. Bristol also let the guy know she could tell he was a homosexual.

Check it out at LA's Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. Thanks to Hollywood.TV for the footage.

Mommy Post: Paula Patton With Baby

Now we love the kids and mamas who have them, but we could not let this go unnoticed. It just wouldn't be us and we don't want that, right?

Okay so the beautiful actress, Paula Patton has an adorable 17 month old son named, Julian. However it looks like Paula's baby daddy and husband, R & B crooner Robin Thicke, had this baby all by himself.

Sports: Bengals Running Back Cedric Benson, Suspended

(Kenny Britt -L, Aqib Talib - R)

Cornerback Aqib Talib for the Buccaneers and Titan receiver Kenny Britt are the lucky ones, for not getting suspended before the start of the season for personal conduct violations during the lockout. Talib was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, but obviously his lawyers convinced the NFL that he had a strong defense. Britt has an upcoming court date (Sept. 20) to which he is pleading not guilty, for disorderly conduct at a New Jersey car wash.

However, Cedric Benson was awarded a 3-game suspension for assaulting a former roomate, as reported by NBC's Pro Football Talk.

(Cedric Benson)

Benson is appealing the case and will be allowed to play against the 49ers this weekend. However according to Yahoo! Sports reporter, Mike Silver, if his appeal is not favorable, Cedric will be absent from the Jaguars, Colts and Bills games.

The Bengals could use some good news since they are also dealing with Bengals receiver Jerome Simpson's alleged drug situation. 8.5 pounds of mary jane was allegedly found at his home. Someone (we don't know who) received 2.5 pounds at Jerome's home where they also found 6 pounds. If this is true, this case could possibly be added to the dumbest criminals vault. Why would you not hide the rest? This is only plausible if there was no time to do so.

New "Scarface" Movie?

According to Deadline.com, it looks like elements of the hit gangstar movie is being used to make another Scarface-like film, thanks to Universal Pictures. The new take on the film will not be a sequel or remake. It will however take the aspects of an immigrant, an outsider who forces himself into criminal activity to gain what they feel is the American dream, being a kingpin.

For those that think the Brian De Palma 1983 directed Scarface starring Al Pacino as Tony Montana is the firat time this title was brought to fruition... you're wrong. The title was first delivered in 1932, directed by Howard Hawks and Richard Rosson.

Who's interested in seeing another version of this classic?

The "X Factor" Has A 2 Hour Debut

We fell in and out of REM on some of this last night. It was too long! However, we still love Simon although he was on the nicer side.

Here are a few highlights:

13-year-old Rachel Crow opened the show singing, “Mercy." We love her. We could see her on a Disney show where she is able to show her bubbly personality and sing. That's what those Disney kids and shows are all about, right? This is also a 13 year old who knows what she wants... her own bathroom. She lives in a two-bedroom house along with five other people. Dang! We hear you girl and obviously Cowell does too since he told her, "Get ready for a new bathroom."

Oh and 42 year old mother of two contestant, Stacy Francis, has such a beautiful voice. She sang "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and blew the roof off the venue. She received a standing O from the audience and judges. Simon told her, "I've done this a long, long time, that was one of the best auditions I have ever heard in my life."

Now we wouldn't be us if we didn't talk about the hot mess that is internet blogger, Geo Godley. You know, the 43 year old dude that dropped his pants singing, "Im a Stud?" Although it looked like children were in the audience, the judges looked appalled and some looked afraid... yet nobody bum-rushed the stage to get this guy outta there. Unfortunately, we were unable to find actual video because it either sucked or was taken down to due copyright infringement. So someone showing their man parts gets the copyright infringement?

By the way, if you're wondering and haven't heard already, the difference between this show and American Idol, besides judges: Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, is the X Factor has a more broader age range.
