Desperate Housewives No Longer Desperate
According to Deadline.com, Desperate Housewives will end its run in May 2012 after 8 seasons.
This is a shocking revelation to Eva Longoria, Terri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross who's contracts were heavily negotiated for 9 seasons until 2013. By this being one of ABC's top rated shows, one has to wonder what the hell is going on. Since 2006 and through 2010 internationally, Housewives is the most-watched comedy series averaging 51.6 million viewers across 68 territories. It is also the third-highest money earning show for 2010, with $2.74 million per half hour.
Great, now what "non-stop ridiculous scenarios that take place on one block" are we going to tune into now? Seriously, this show goes great with Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream!
