Jeremy's Entourage No Longer Plowing...

So peeps want to talk all that sh** about Piven but check it. Since leaving the show he performed on Broadway called, "Speed-the- Plow", due to a mercury illness (read previous post for clarity), ticket sales are down $160,000 and down to 50% seat capacity, meaning the other 50% is empty.
I always say you should never burn bridges with the guy who helped (in a major way) bring cash flow to your venue regardless of how you may personally feel about him or his illness. I realize theater is an art but business is business.
I am wondering if anyone has taken anyone's temperature with a THERMOMETER lately over at the production of "Speed-the-Plow", curious... how ya feelin?

Okay so I'm surfin the net, and I see that peeps are givin Jeremy Piven crapadoodle cuz he's ill. Piven had to drop out of his broadway run of Mamet's, "Speed-the-Plow" due to extreme (six times the norm) mercury levels in his blood. It appears Piven's diet includes eating a ton of sushi which can cause this illness due to fish being a primary ingredient in sushi, usually. Mamet's response to Daily Variety to Piven's illness, “My understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer.” Ouch!

Stop! Emmy® Time

My bet is on 30 Rock for best comedy oh but I do love Entourage... okay I would be super happy if either one of those won. Of course Tina Fey for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series, and Amy Poehler for supporting actress would be an absolute hoot! I just love those ladies. Oh and Jeremy Piven for his Ari Gold character on Entourage, LOVE it. So who out there wants to bet me on my picks? If you win, I will give you a natural homegrown all american no-thing. You got my word on it!
