The BET Awards are going down live this Sunday, June 26th (8 Pacific/7 Central), and are being hosted by Kevin Hart. Steve Harvey will be honored with a Humanitarian Award and Patti LaBelle will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tyler Perry Makes History

People reports, Tyler Perry made history this past Saturday by being the first African-American to start his own major film and TV studio. Many stars attended this unveiling including: Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, and Mary J. Blige.
