It looks like an agreement has been reached on a bipartisan counterproposal to Bush's $700 billion bailout plan per CNN. This agreement would mean the Treasury Department would buy up the awful mortgage securities from banks in hopes to get them to lend again.In other news, this bailout news does not change McCain's decision about the debate with Obama that was scheduled for tomorrow.
