Fem Smack Down Friday, Is Happening Tuesday... TODAY!

Rant and roast is still in shock and awe that "The Bachelorette" is still apart of television programming. First of all, this fake fest which had Ashley Hebert get to know 25 men in hopes of choosing her life mate is a crock of foolery. It's always about them, "following their heart to find true love." I guess them following the lights, camera and money is not as appealing to say.

Also why is it that on "The Bachelor," the dude asks for the chick's hand in marriage and on "The Bachelorette," the dude asks for the chick's hand in marriage? Shouldn't the chick do the honors? For this show to reap the benefits of what reality TV has become and in this case untraditional, which is unfortunately being able to view these romantic hot messes on TV rather than those being private moments, shouldn't the whole traditional way of doing things be out the window?

So anyway to recap, two dudes asked for Hebert's hand in TV matrimony, Ben Flajnik and J.P. Rosenbaum. She went with Rosenbaum who said in his proposal, "All the time we've spent together, it's been the happiest time of my life. And you always say to me you're smiling all the time, you're going to have wrinkles when you're older. Well, I smile because of you. You bring that out. What I do know for absolute certain is that I am madly in love with you. I love everything about you." The two then kissed and Hebert says, "Today is the reason why I went through all the good times and the bad times, and I've been wanting to tell you how much I loved you for so long now. You mean the world to me and I do not want to be with anyone else forever." To which Rosenbaum replied, "I'm so in love with you. You're the one. You're it."

You know they already broke up right?
