Big Boi: Charged

According to HuffPost Celebrity, rapper Big Boi of Outkast was booked on 3 counts of drug posession charges in Miami yesterday around 1:35pm ET. The 36 year old rap star, whose real name is Antwan Patton, illegally possessed ecstasy and viagra pills, allegedly. Now released, his bond was set at $16,000.

His attorney released this statement: “While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated.’

Big Boi tweeted this upon his release: "Fresh Out Baby!" He later tweeted, "Shiiiiit they said it was the Love Boat."

Considering the whole viagra thing (ALLEGEDLY) and being locked up (if only for a little while)... we're not understanding the "Love Boat" reference in his tweet. Perhaps not the right choice of words.

Bush Goes To Dolphins

Pro NFL running back Reggie Bush is no longer a Saint, of the New Orleans persuasion that is. He is now a Miami Dolphin, signing a two year contract expected to be finalized tomorrow.

Today Bush tweeted, "Change is never easy but I look forward to building something special in Miami and can't wait to embark on this new journey! Here we go..."

Dave Chappelle Gets Booed (VIDEO)

Dave was performing a set in Miami for Alonzo Mourning's Summer Groove charity event. Some say it looks like he wasn't prepared for the event as at times, he was sighing and staring at the crowd. Oh and he also received 4 text messages and checked them, WHILE ON STAGE.

TV One and CNN analyst Roland Martin was there and tweeted:
This Dave Chappelle set is bizarre. He’s spent more time going back & forth with one audience member, & pretty much stopped telling jokes. Some woman yelled, “Can you tell a joke so we can enjoy ourselves!" I’m just not understanding what threw him off. He’s complained about folks videotaping his set, yelling out loud. I don’t get it. “This crowd is as serious as hell,” he says... Chappelle says this is a “test of wills.” He keeps saying “tick tock” & he has “nothing but time.”

In Martin's tweet of explaining this debacle to his CNN viewers:
... Dave Chappelle complaining about a guy taping his whole show. Then Dave started talking to me, asking if I was putting this on CNN. Yes, from the stage! He’s been on stage 46 minutes & told one joke. He kept saying “I respect your work.” And then said, He’ll send me a tape of his better comedy work. This is a trip! One of Chappelle’s folks told me he hates hecklers, and that totally threw him off. And every little thing that happened just took him off.

Chappelle was on stage for 46 minutes and told one funny, yes ONE joke. Since he has been living on a farm in Ohio, perhaps that's to blame.
