Jeffrey Atkins AKA Ja Rule Gets Served With

... 28 more months of jail time today for failing to file over 1 million in taxes. Ja Rule is currently in the slammer already serving a two year stint for gun possession. According to MTV, the new sentence is in response to Ja Rule admitting in December 2010, he did not file taxes from 2004-2006.

FYI, if the rapper is released from his gun possession sentence early, or if he ends up doing the whole 2 year stint for it, he still owes New York the time on the tax sentence as it runs concurrent with his current sentence. Good Behavior might get him a shorter fed sentence.
