When politicians are running for the highest offices of the land, and they do not want press around to help grandstand moments with world leaders, something is definitely wrong. Oh my bad, the press got 30 seconds. CNN reports, Palin met with Afghan leader Hamid Karzai today in NY to discuss... well all we know is they discussed Karzai's son born in January of 2007. CNN did get some quotes from the meeting:Palin: What is his name?
Karzai: Mirwais, which means, The Light of the House.
Palin: Oh nice.
When it hit the 29 second mark, CNN and some photogs were asked to bounce. The Palin-McCain, I mean McCain-Palin camp of course blamed the 30 second time restriction mix-up on well just that, a mix-up. So, to not seem like they are being secretive like a bunch of mean girls, later media peeps were granted to observe 15-20 seconds of a meeting Palin had with Columbian President, Alvaro Uribe. Wow thanks John and Sarah. You guys are the best!
