American Hikers To Be Released From Iranian Jail

Ann Curry interviewed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and he is going on record saying the two American hikers, Joshua Fattal and Shane Bauer who were arrested in 2009 and sentenced to 8 years in prison for espionage while hiking along the Iraq-Iran border, will be freed in a couple days. This is being called a humanitarian gesture on Iran's part. However in return, Ahmadinejad wants Iranians freed from American prisons.

The hikers say they crossed the border by mistake due to a soldier waving them over. What? Sounds like that soldier waved them over on purpose so they could cross the border to be arrested.

Fem Smack Down Friday

While doing research for writing my blogs this week, I came across the name Shelley Lubben of Pink Cross. She was a porn star at one point and is now totally into her faith and saving other porn stars from, well porn. She started Pink Ribbon to offer financial, emotional and transitional assistance to actors of that genre. I get it and think her being a savior to those is great. So you are probably wondering what my issue is. Well, she drew headlines this week (Click here for previous post) by being very vocal in stopping the drama, "The Playboy Club" set to air on NBC this Fall. She feels it is degrading to women. First of all, she needs to stay in her lane. Last time I checked, none of the actors starring in "The Playboy Club" have names like Darryl "Numb Nuts" Jenkins or Lacey Two-Holes. Give it a rest Lubben and try to make headlines by actually going after something legitimate to your business, PORN ACTORS.

I have an issue with a former porn star judging anybody. That priviledge is lost on me if I can catch you naked with your ass up in a movie.

This Is Such BS

Religious groups (along with anti-porn groups) are at it again wanting to boycott something. NBC has a new show slated to air in the Fall called, "The Playboy Club." It is an hourlong drama that takes place at the Chicago Playboy Club in the 60's and is said to have a "Mad Men" feel to it. The show stars Eddie Cibrian and Amber Heard.

According to HuffPost Entertainment, Pink Cross, founded by former porn star Shelley Lubben, is a religious group dedicated to helping out adult porn actors for financial, emotional and transitional assistance stated, "What's shown in 'The Playboy Club' is not real, Playboy definitely damages people. It's pornography, it's sex trafficking and it exploits women," she told Fox411.com. "The series looks like it's all cute, taking place back in the old days. It seems harmless, but then they show a quick clip of three people going at it in the bathroom. NBC is breaking the law with this show. They're not meeting FCC standards."

Now why a former porn star is judging anybody, let alone something that's not even porn or the fact she is going out of the scope of what her business is all about, helping adult "porn" actors which these actors in, "The Playboy Club" are not, is just crazy talk. We need to be talking about the fact that there is actually a black Playboy Bunny (see second video) in the mix!

Project Runway... Not In This Lifetime

It looks like Heidi Klum will not be cat walking in her stilettos over to the Lifetime Network like originally planned for the sixth season, at least temporarily as reported by CNN. See what had happened was, the Weinstein Co (the producer) behind the hit reality show, Project Runway scored a reported $150 million deal with Lifetime for the show to air on their network. However according to the judge's ruling in a lawsuit brought on by NBC Universal against Weinstein Co, NBC Universal gets "right of first refusal".
