"The Daily Show's" Jon Stewart discusses the GOP's movie selection in showing its' newbie senators a clip of, "The Town." You know the movie that stars Ben Affleck and Jon Hamm about bank robbers.
Hmm, curious what kind of motivation these freshman senators were to gain from this, perhaps Jon can help out on this one.

President Obama Addresses The Nation
Response from Republicans about the Presidents address
Check out this comment (below) from grrandram, who posted their comment on the same page I embeded the Republican response video from... I could not resist posting it here.
"Exactly. They're sort of embarrassing. First they present the hockey mom and now they bring out the Slumdog Millionaire. They're so gimmicky. Hey, look at us, we can have a woman in office."

Obama Hits Indy
Just when you think the campaign is over, President Obama does something unheard of today. He goes and stares into the eyes of those that did not vote for him to explain his billion dollar economic stimulus package that Republicans and a handful of Dems oppose. With all the politcal mumbo jumbo aside, President O ended up with a standing O (get it)... and it looks like he is going to end up getting his bill passed.

McCain's Really Bad Week
1. While interviewing with Spanish media, McCain thought he was addressing Mexico.
2. McCain flatly rejects the AIG bailout then the next day deems it necessary.
3. On the same day our economy suffers a huge setback, McCain stated,"... the fundamentals of the economy are strong."
... Oh and later McCain went on to add that it is Obama's fault this economic crisis is happening (see video).
Well in that case, Senator Obama my stiletto heel is broken, it is SOOO your fault and you need to haul your booty to my house pronto and fix it! I am so serious.
