Seriously Blago?

It looks like Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will be kicked out of his office by way of impeachment, as the Illinois House held hearings today. The vote was 111-1, obviously the latter for Blago. The debate took a measley 90 minutes, and nobody took up for Rod Blago during the hearing. MSNBC reports, Blago was impeached by the lower house of the legislative branch today, but still needs to be impeached by the upper house in order for this unprecedented event to take place.

The 52 year old claims to be a victim and is going to fight this to the end... I don't know Rod, it's lookin ovah to me... even if you did absolutely nothing, they want you out. So if I were you, I would keep doing your favorite pastime, jogging. Who knows, maybe you can be a trainer on the Biggest Loser.

Rahm Emanuel Soon To Be Exonerated

It is rumored that President-elect Barack Obama's White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, was in cahoots with Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich, to try to "steer" Obama's Senate seat to a longtime friend of Obama's, Valerie Jarret. According to George Stephanopoulos on his ABC morning show today, he said Rahm is not down with Blago. Click here for more.

Oh Hell No Blago

So if we do not remember Illinois "mob-like" governor, Rod Blagojevich just take a look at my previous post. Well anyhoo, the Illinois Supreme Court has rejected claims to even hear a whisper of Blago being unfit to serve. Oh yeah you read right. Also, Blago would like the Illinois House to pay for and appoint a legal team for his impeachment issue... talk about the audacity of hell naw Blago.

Oh and one more thing, Lisa Madigan, the Attorney General of illinois has requested for Rod to be impeached, at least temporarily, and as we know like the rest of the claims, REJECTED! So the office Rod had to contact to get this whole appointing and pay thang with the attorneys squared away... Lisa Madigan's office... yep! I can't wait to see how that turns out... the bitter irony.

Why why why people? I am really tired of people equating Chicago to corrupt government when talking about Blago and past Governors... First of all, the Governor is Governor of Illinois NOT CHICAGO!!!!!! The Governor's office is located in the state's capital which is called, SPRINGFIELD!!!!!!!

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested this morning by FBI agents on corruption charges, by what you ask... trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's Senate seat. I am curious what one offers to sit in what looks to be an uncomfortable non-reclining seat? I am also curious to know what other drama is going to surround Obama prior to his inauguration?

Considering the track record of Governors in Illinois, is the prerequisite to hold that title to act like a mobster?

For the record, Prez-elect Obama had no recollection of these goings on.
