Designer John Galliano... Guilty

Galliano not guilty of any fashion fines, but guilty of hate crimes according to Forbes. The former Dior designer to the stars and others who can afford it, was convicted of making racist remarks and anti-Semetic comments today in a Paris court. He was fined $8,500 (which is 6,000 euros), one symbolic euro ($1.40 - talk about assault) to each plantiff and 16,500 euros ($23,200) for court costs. Now the 6,000 euros he was fined is a conditional fine. If John is not found guilty of any crimes for five years in France, that fine is suspended.

Backstory:
On a couple different occassions, John assaulted some people. On February 24th 2011, he was arrested and accused of assaulting two people at a french cafe. On Oct 8th 2010, he allegedly (at the time) verbally attacked a 40 year old woman also at the same french cafe, La Perle. The conviction and fines are a result of these actions.

He also loves Hitler.

Kanye West: He Has No Where Else For His Foot To Go

What's the 'ole saying? He put his foot in his mouth. We don't think he has any place else for said foot to go. Once again, Kanye West says something that creates a media fire storm, especially in an industry where a lot of Jews are present. At this point, he has to know, unless he doesn't want to be talked about, mentioning Hitler and people looking at him like he's Hitler, is probably not a good idea. If the majority of people weren't thinking of Kanye as Hitler, they might start now. Do we at rant and roast think he meant anything by it? No.

This past Saturday, West performed at the Big Chill music festival in England. He spoke to the crowd about some of the hard times he has endured from being misunderstood. He is quoted as ranting, "I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm f**king insane ... like I'm Hitler." He went on to say, "Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference. It's so much f**king going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f**king difference."

Well, Kanye wants to be the MJ of music and we love Michael Jordan but honestly, the last time we saw MJ he looked like this:

The Kids With Those Names

Last month a story surfaced somewhere in Jersey about a local grocer refusing to bake a birthday cake of a 3 year old kid due to his name being Adolf Hitler (see previous post for details). Well now according to, MSNBC, him and his other siblings named, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler, have been placed in state custody. Information as to why the children have been removed from the home is unavailable at this time. So right now all we have to go on is their names.

Everyone has their right to their own opinions and ideas, however if your opinions or ideas fall under the category of stupid, crazy, or just plain weird... you got to get talked about.

Fox News reports, a birthday cake was ordered at a local grocer somewhere in Jersey by the parents of a 3 year old boy. I know sounds all good. However, the grocer refused to decorate the cake due to the name they would put on the 3 year olds cake... wait for it... his name is Adolf Hitler Campbell. Hmm hmm. Adolf has a couple siblings and their names are JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. The daddy of Adolf claims he named his son Adolf because he likes the name and knew no one else would have it... well yeah except the ruthless dictator we all know as ADOLF HITLER.
