We have to give Bristol props, although with cameras in tow for her reality show, for walking up to dude and getting in his face. Bristol also let the guy know she could tell he was a homosexual.

Check it out at LA's Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. Thanks to Hollywood.TV for the footage.

The "X Factor" Has A 2 Hour Debut

We fell in and out of REM on some of this last night. It was too long! However, we still love Simon although he was on the nicer side.

Here are a few highlights:

13-year-old Rachel Crow opened the show singing, “Mercy." We love her. We could see her on a Disney show where she is able to show her bubbly personality and sing. That's what those Disney kids and shows are all about, right? This is also a 13 year old who knows what she wants... her own bathroom. She lives in a two-bedroom house along with five other people. Dang! We hear you girl and obviously Cowell does too since he told her, "Get ready for a new bathroom."

Oh and 42 year old mother of two contestant, Stacy Francis, has such a beautiful voice. She sang "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and blew the roof off the venue. She received a standing O from the audience and judges. Simon told her, "I've done this a long, long time, that was one of the best auditions I have ever heard in my life."

Now we wouldn't be us if we didn't talk about the hot mess that is internet blogger, Geo Godley. You know, the 43 year old dude that dropped his pants singing, "Im a Stud?" Although it looked like children were in the audience, the judges looked appalled and some looked afraid... yet nobody bum-rushed the stage to get this guy outta there. Unfortunately, we were unable to find actual video because it either sucked or was taken down to due copyright infringement. So someone showing their man parts gets the copyright infringement?

By the way, if you're wondering and haven't heard already, the difference between this show and American Idol, besides judges: Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, is the X Factor has a more broader age range.

American Hikers: Released

Joshua Fattal and Shane Bauer who were arrested in 2009 and sentenced to 8 years in prison for espionage while hiking along the Iraq-Iran border, were finally released yesterday.

Is this a wonderful moment? Absolutely. However, the hikers were not released out of the goodness of their captors Iranian hearts. There was a payment drop in lieu of freedom. A payment of $1 million to be exact, according to CBS News.

For more back story on the hikers, click here to our previous post.

GOP Debate: Best Of

Mitt Romney and Rick Perry give each other some verbal digs on creating jobs:

Jon Huntsman talks Science and how the Republicans can't run away from it:

Here's a video clip during the GOP debate where Perry talks Social Security and how he's not responsible for Karl Rove:

Here's another where he talks capital punishment (being the Texas Governor and all). Oh and this is the same guy that doesn't believe Americans should vote for their senators. Take it away Perry:

The justice system has been known to make mistakes. We've seen people get out of jail who were innocent. So how the thought of someone innocent being executed could NEVER cross his mind is... well, odd.

Brandy... Doin Big Things

Check Brandy out on "Access Hollywood" talking, "Dancing with the Stars," being in the studio, starring on a couple episodes of Lifetime show, "Drop Dead Diva" and the possibility of a new love in her life.

Who still thinks Brandy and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner. Maksim, did the horizontal dance?

Designer John Galliano... Guilty

Galliano not guilty of any fashion fines, but guilty of hate crimes according to Forbes. The former Dior designer to the stars and others who can afford it, was convicted of making racist remarks and anti-Semetic comments today in a Paris court. He was fined $8,500 (which is 6,000 euros), one symbolic euro ($1.40 - talk about assault) to each plantiff and 16,500 euros ($23,200) for court costs. Now the 6,000 euros he was fined is a conditional fine. If John is not found guilty of any crimes for five years in France, that fine is suspended.

Backstory:
On a couple different occassions, John assaulted some people. On February 24th 2011, he was arrested and accused of assaulting two people at a french cafe. On Oct 8th 2010, he allegedly (at the time) verbally attacked a 40 year old woman also at the same french cafe, La Perle. The conviction and fines are a result of these actions.

He also loves Hitler.

Bachman Wants The Department Of Education...

No longer to be a Department.

Michele Bachman says it is one agency, "we can live without." The Republican presidential hopeful also said, "The Constitution does not specifically enumerate nor does it give to the federal government the role and duty to superintend over education, that historically has been held by the parents and by local communities and by state government. To put that into the federal government as we saw a Department of Education in the late 1970s has eviscerated the constitutional understanding that the control of education truly lies with the parents."

We don't think we need to say much on this one. Michele does it for us. She roasts herself. The damn lady roasts herself.

Karl Rove On Sarah Palin Runnin For President

Karl visited Fox News last night and had this to say about Palin's reaction to him, on speculating if she's running for President or not. "I'm mystified. Look, she is all upset about this, saying I'm somehow trying to sabotage her. Sabotage her in some way and that how dare I speculate on her future. Look, if she doesn't want to be speculated about as a potential presidential candidate, there's an easy way to end the speculation. Simply say, 'I'm not running."

Oh Sarah. Since Rove is calling you out on your network, you might want to rethink this whole strategy thing. However, if this is to sell more books and be that "celebrity" you were born to be, keep up the good work.

Throwback To The President That Is Obama

Here is a little funny clip Jay Leno "recreated" of President Obama shaking hands, with some flava, at the 2010 Correspondents' Dinner.

If anyone feels this is racist since a "white" comedian came up with the bit, comment below... GO THE HELL OFF or not if it's all good.

Jim Carrey Confesses His Love For Emma Stone

Since Emma Stone is the "it girl" at the moment, this is more than likely a PR move... a genius PR move to the point his website was overloaded with people wanting to see what all the hoopla was about.

Topless: Who's In?

Anyone participate in National Go Topless Day yesterday, which was Sunday, which is also a day that a lot of people go to church? For those that need to be schooled on what this day is all about and how you had no idea this was happening, not to worry, we have video.

Oh by the way, this day is in support of chicks being topless in public just like dudes.

Huh. We hadn't thought about this being a cause for concern. Of all things to protest about, the war, the economy, global warming... of course being topless should be on the list. What the hell were we thinking? Apparently, we weren't.

Check out comedian Tom Kelly at the event.
