We at rant and roast are not too surprised at this one. However, it is too bad that the circustances surrounding this took place in New Orleans post-Katrina. According to CNN and the Just Department officials, five officers were found guilty today on a combined 25 counts of civil rights violations, bound to fatal shootings on New Orleans' Danziger Bridge, in the chaos of Hurricane Katrina. The jurors reached a verdict after three days of deliberations. Sentencing for Kenneth Bowen, Robert Gisevius, Robert Faulcon, Anthony Villavaso and former detective Arthur Kaufman is expected to go down in December.

Lohan Is Back...
Yes, Lindsay Lohan is due back in court today for a possible violation of her probation. What did she do this time? Lindsay failed to pass an alcohol test earlier this month according to TMZ.
After given the test twice, she passed one of two for alcohol and past both tests for drugs. Lindsay is due back in LA County Superior Court this morning. Stay tuned for more details.
