Jalen Rose Is A Free Man

Ex-NBA baller Jalen Rose is no longer in a jail suit at a Detroit jail. After spending 16 days in the local pen, he was let go this morning. All of this comes from him pleading guilty to driving while drunk during a crash on March 11, as reported by TMZ.

According to The Detroit News, this 38 year old former NBA player now ESPN basketball analyst just got sentenced to 93 days, but has to serve the first 20 in the slammer for a DUI charge that happened March 11th in Michigan. The rest of the sentence can be hashed out by doing community service and attending an alcohol awareness class. He is expected to start serving his sentence by August 2nd. Hope you come out smelling like a rose.

Charles Barkley Takes It To The Hole

Former pro basketball player, turned T-Mobile commercial guy and TNT basketball analyst dude Charles Barkley, who was popped with a DUI December 31st of '08 by Arizona poe poes, plead guilty to two counts of driving under the influence today. He is ordered to serve 10 days in jail but will do 5 if he does an alcohol program reports multiple media outlets. Charlie begins his sentence on March 21st.

TNT... Hoy... Hoy... Hoy...

According to Bloomberg.com. former pro baller, turned sports analyst for the TNT network Charles Barkley, will be taking a leave of absence from his TNT gig, due to his arrest from suspicion of driving under the influence a week ago. Barkley declined to take the breathalyzer but did take the blood test; which revealed his alcohol level was .149, almost twice the legal limit in Phoenix, which is .08 and where this situation took place.

At least Charlie boy was given some time off to reflect on his actions and what not to do next time... he should've called Diddy, who has that driver service for celebrities when they get totally drunk and don't think.

Wow! I was just going to say I heard, the ex-basketball star, who stars in those T-mobile commercials with Miami basketball superstar Dwayne Wade, was arrested for DUI in Phoenix early this morning, and that he obviously started his New Year celebration early, but no dudes it gets better... according to the Huffington Post, Barkley ran a stop sign, and that is when the poe poes pulled him ovah and cited him with DUI; however Charlie boy gave an explanation as to why he was in such a hurry. Wait for it... oral sex! Yes... oookkkay! According to the police report, Charles told the officer he ran the stop sign to pick up the chick they saw get in the back seat. He went on to ask the cop to admit she was hot... and that he got a bj from her a week earlier, and it was the best he ever had in his life. Isn't Charlie married with kids? I wonder how they're feelin right about now. I am wondering if this chick was a hooker.
